A little over a week ago, our dog was attacked by 3 pit bulls while on our walk. Thankfully, he pulled through and is continuing to heal. His ears are deformed and his body is currently covered in some spots with scabs from the healing bite wounds. For what seemed like hours, we fought these dogs off of him while I healed on tightly to his leash, knowing that if I let go, that would be it.
I still don't know what caused those dogs to attack my dog but I guess that really doesn't matter. What matters is that my furry baby is getting better every day. One thing is for sure, I will have protection before we ever go out on another walk.
I'm going to end this blog now because the attack is still very fresh in my mind.
