I looked outside the window and saw 2 bunnies this morning.  I headed out the back door in attempt to get to the front without them seeing me.  I did but just as I got there, a car came and scared them off.  I think this one thought if he didn't move, I wouldn't see him...so I snapped my photo and then he decided to run on.

I live in a city with a large geese population.  I guess I'd rather see them as opposed to deer everywhere.

I have to admit, since our Cocker Spaniel's attack by 3 Pit Bulls, I haven't been a fan of this breed but this dog was beautiful (from a distance, thanks to that zoom option baby!) and I couldn't pass up the chance to get his photo.

This is the neighbor's dog...one of my favorite models.  I tried to get her to sit up but she refused, hence the weed covering her eye.  She was too busy relaxing under the shade tree. Oh well.

So we went to the Exotic Bird Fair which was boring and my daughter found this place, W.H. Reynolds Memorial Nature Preserve.  Finally, I was in a place that was photo worthy and I remembered to bring the Canon.  Yay me!

So, I was going to take a picture of my roses in the front yard BUT they are not blooming so I zoomed in across the street and got a picture of the neighbor's flowers.  Not really sure what they are but they are pretty.

With the help of my youngest daughter making faces behind me, I was able to get a picture of Samson actually looking at me.  He kept turning his head prior to this.   A little blurry but I'm pleased.

Today starts a project to help me get better with my photography.  For the next 6 months, I will take a picture everyday.  I can't promise myself, or anyone else for that matter, that I will post the picture every single day BUT, I will take the pictures.  I may do a post once a week and upload all that I have but they will be uploaded.  I know, I know, the first picture isn't the greatest, it's weeds.  I get it, but it's not really about the first picture.  It's about the progress I hope to make by doing this.
